Description from the seller
Huge stock of used Dutch postage stamps 1852–2001 in 4 stockbooks
A very large lot of used Dutch postage stamps issued from 1852 to 2001, spread across four well-filled stockbooks.
The lot contains a large number of different stamps and series, with some stamps and issues available in multiple copies. Overall the quality is good, and there are also several better and interesting stamps.
Especially in the classical period there are several beautiful dot cancellations to be found. In the early years the quality can be variable, as is usual with old used stamps.
Additionally, the lot includes, among other things, sheets, blocks and stamps taken from stamp booklets, of which multiple copies are present.
An interesting lot for the collector who wants to expand their collection, is looking for duplicates, or wants to specialize in stamps and varieties.
All stamps and stockbooks have been fully photographed, so you get a good impression of the size and contents of the lot.
