Set of 6 silvered metal knife rests in animal shapes: cat, dog, doe, bull, fox, and greyhound. Modern design with clean lines. Cardboard box (likely original) bearing the manufacturer’s mark: "Orfèvrerie François Frionnet". No visible stamp or maker’s mark on the knife rests, attributed to François Frionnet (20th century), silversmith in Paris.
1960s / 1970s, France.
Overall good condition, signs of age and use; patina stains and spots, small marks from oxidation in places (visible brass), scratches and micro-scratches. Box in generally decent condition: carton deformed, wear, stains, marks and minor losses.
