A single 1960–1970 Italian design piece in transparent resin, model Cubo Sfera, cube dimensions 8 cm on each side, weighing 100 g, with a label, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
In the Guzzini catalog of that period, the conception and artistic direction of geometric table accessories in transparent plexiglass are historically attributed to Luigi Massoni (historic designer and art director of the company between the late 1960s and the 1970s).
The piece fits into the line of Italian kinetic and geometric design, where the contrast between the external rigidity of the cube and the internal softness of the transparent sphere was one of the most sought-after formal themes.
