Description from the seller
Manufacturer Alpha was a short-lived, exclusively Belgian brand founded in the 1980s. It was a subsidiary or sub-brand of the world-renowned Falk Culinair (based in Wespelaar, Belgium).
Falk released cookware under the Alpha name at that time, but this product line lasted only about 2 years. As a result, historically only a very small volume of these pans was produced. This makes your pan today a rare collectible (rare vintage) among copper cookware enthusiasts.
Features of this particular maker
• Top-quality construction: Because the pan comes from Falk’s ateliers, the build is incredibly solid. Falk is known for using heavy-duty, professional bi-metal copper that lasts for generations.
• The stamp: The stamp you see in the photo (the small Greek letter α) is the official mark by which this rare series was labeled at the time.
So you’re not just holding any vintage pan, but a rare piece of Belgian culinary history!
