Description from the seller
Keith Haring Polaroid camera, limited edition Polaroid SHP 308766, new with film never opened, sealed packaging, a collectible limited-edition work of art. The photos of the box are original, while the pictures of the camera outside the box are of another Polaroid Keith Haring Edition.
The most famous analog instant camera celebrates American pop art with a truly interesting limited edition: Polaroid x Keith Haring Now. A camera with a bold look to celebrate an artist who challenged artistic conventions.
From murals on subway walls to art history books, Keith Haring’s artistic legacy has written an immortal chapter in American pop art. An artist who broke the rules of the game, with works impossible to forget. Polaroid has therefore decided to involve the Keith Haring Foundation to incorporate the artist’s pioneering spirit into its cameras. An invitation for every photographer to seek originality, from someone just picking up the camera to someone who captures pieces of life every day.
The Keith Haring Now camera retains the same features we’ve seen in the traditional edition of the instant camera. It arrives with autofocus and double exposure, precise flash, self-timer, and long-lasting battery.
“Keith Haring and Polaroid are a perfect pairing,” said Gil Vazquez, Acting Director and President of the Keith Haring Foundation in Manhattan. “The artist and the brand are both iconic and full of shared egalitarian values, perfect for genuinely promoting self-expression and creativity for everyone. Keith personally shot many Polaroids, so there is an artistic legacy that has reached our time and that we are really happy to celebrate.”
New, never opened, for collectors.
