For sale is an exquisite 7-piece ensemble of traditional vintage table linens from a private collection. The set is characterized by its remarkably fine, hand-made craftsmanship and the harmoniously coordinated floral patterns.

The textiles consist of a high-quality half-linen fabric (a blend of cotton and linen). This fabric combines the noble texture, strength and the delicate transparency of linen with the pleasantly soft hand and ease of care of cotton. All embroidery was performed in pure, precise manual workmanship.

Two embroidery techniques: The large tablecloth features a dense, plush satin stitch (platt stitch) in the form of a magnificent floral wreath. The two runners and the napkins are worked in detailed, multicolored cross-stitch.

Hollow seam & lace trim: The four napkins have an elaborately drawn and slipped hollow seam at the edge. The narrower table runner ends with a delicate crocheted lace trim along the edges.
