Eaglemoss brass planetarium model in as-new condition, issued in 2008, with dimensions 34 cm high, 36 cm wide and 36 cm deep, weighing 5000 g, featuring a working mechanical system and 52 included manuals.
Description from the seller
PLANETARIUM - Eaglemos Prima working! Published 2008
This scale model contains the most recent additions to the solar system.
By using carefully calculated gear ratios, the movements of the mechanical solar system correspond precisely to those of the real planets.
Once the mechanical solar system is set in motion, the solemn procession of planets around the Sun begins.
At a glance it is clear that all the planets orbit the central Sun, each at its own speed.
The planets include, in order, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, Eris.
The planet arms are firmly attached to the gear arms to allow them to rotate. The planet arms can, however, be unscrewed, and by hand set in the same direction, so that the planetarium can be safely stored.
Even during shipping, the arms are aligned in one direction.
The 52 instruction manuals are included.
If you do not speak Dutch, no problem. The pictures speak for themselves.
The planetarium is double-packaged: first in a plastic box and then in a cardboard box.
