Description from the seller

Special handmade ceramic vase by the Dutch ceramist Pieter Groeneveldt (1889–1982), produced in his workshop in Voorschoten.

High cylindrical form with a distinctive rough, horizontally textured exterior in earthy brown and sand tones. The interior forms a beautiful contrast and is fully finished with an intense turquoise craquelé glaze.

The bottom is clearly marked with the original Groeneveldt / PG / Made in Holland factory mark with the three waning moons and the number 408.

A characteristic example of Dutch post-war studio pottery.

Good vintage condition with signs of use and aging appropriate to its age. See the photos for the condition.
