Description from the seller
Natural Green Cap Tourmaline Crystal on Albite Matrix – Stak Nala, Skardu, Pakistan
A beautiful natural Green Cap Tourmaline crystal on Albite matrix from the renowned Stak Nala mines, Skardu, Pakistan. This is a highly attractive collector's specimen, combining a sharply formed green Tourmaline crystal with a striking formation of white Albite crystals.
The specimen weighs 21 grams and measures approximately 32 × 32 × 23 mm. The main Tourmaline crystal displays a very clear, vivid green cap with excellent transparency and a distinctive natural lustre. The green colour is clearly visible even under normal lighting, while transmitted light reveals the crystal's impressive transparency.
One of the most remarkable features is the natural termination of the Tourmaline crystal. The termination displays well-developed natural facets with a polished-like appearance, although the faceting is entirely natural and not artificially polished. The crystal is reported to be free from damage and repairs, preserving its natural form.
The Tourmaline is surrounded by abundant white Albite crystals, which form an attractive, almost flower-like arrangement around the main crystal. The Albite is present on multiple sides and complements the dark green Tourmaline exceptionally well, creating a strong natural colour and texture contrast.
This is a compact but exceptionally aesthetic specimen, ideal for collectors of Pakistani Tourmaline, Stak Nala minerals and high-quality Alpine-type pegmatite specimens. Its excellent green colour, transparency, natural termination, lustre and attractive Albite association make it particularly suitable for collection and display.
