Elegant and scenographic ceramic sculpture by Capodimonte signed “Tyche Tosca,” as clearly visible on the base.
The work depicts a young lady in a classical pose, wrapped in a refined draped brick-red dress. The figure holds a long garland richly decorated with numerous three-dimensional flowers applied and individually modeled, in delicate tones of pink, cream and yellow.
Particularly careful is the work on the face, hairstyle, hands and feet, as well as the movement of the folds of the dress, which gives great dynamism to the composition.
The figure rests on an important white and gold oval base, richly decorated with relief floral festoons, gilded ornamental motifs and four shaped feet.
On the upper part of the base is the engraved signature “Tyche Tosca,” documented in the photographs.
A piece of notable decorative presence, belonging to the tradition of Italian artistic ceramics from Capodimonte.
Conditions: Excellent, as you can see from the photographs. Given the particular delicacy of the numerous applied flowers, it is advisable to carefully observe all images to identify any minor flaws or small chips. The photographs constitute an integral part of the description.
The sculpture will be packed with particular care, using protective material appropriate to the fragility of the work.
