Description from the seller

Very small bronze reliquary containing the relic of Saint Francis of Paola. The reliquary is frontally closed by a glass panel and completely sealed by the bronze strip. The reliquary does not contain human remains and there is no religious significance. It is an object offered exclusively for its historical, cultural, decorative, collectible value. Please study the photos carefully as it is small in size. On the back of the case is a bishop's seal and silk threads.

Francesco da Paola (Paola, March 27, 1416 – Castle of Plessis-lez-Tours, April 2, 1507) was an Italian religious figure, proclaimed a saint by Pope Leo X on May 1, 1519. A hermit, he founded the Order of Minims.
