Description
Very old metal advertising sign from the famous German brewery Augustiner-Bräu München, founded in 1328.
The shield-shaped sign shows at the top the text “Augustiner-Bräu”, in the center a classic brewery scene with two figures beside wooden beer barrels and at the bottom:
“München – Gegr. 1328”
An interesting detail is located at the bottom of the sign:
“C. R. Dold, Offenburg – Made in Germany (U.S. Zone)”
