Two polished K2 freeforms from Madagascar form a rare K2 sculpture, with a total weight of 1974.14 g.
Description from the seller
This exceptional set comprises two carefully cut and highly polished K2 freeforms, which, due to their contrasting coloring and the characteristic natural blue inclusions, present a particularly striking appearance.
The two pieces exhibit a fascinating light gray to whitish-gray base structure, in which numerous intense cobalt blue to deep blue mineral accents are distributed. The blue inclusions form a striking contrast to the light and gray areas of the rock and give the freeforms their unmistakable character.
Especially interesting are the natural crystalline structures inside. Different shades of gray, transparent to slightly translucent areas, and fine golden-brown mineral accents create a varied and lively surface. Each piece shows its own distribution of colors and inclusions.
The carefully polished surfaces highlight the natural structures and the intense blue color accents particularly well. Together, the two freeforms form a harmonious duo with strong contrast that can be displayed decoratively both individually and together.
An exceptional set for mineral collectors, lovers of special K2 minerals, and high-quality natural stone decorations.
An extraordinary mineral from Madagascar, notable for its rarity and timeless beauty.
