Icon - Two saints - Wood

An antique, large-format Orthodox icon painted in oil on a wooden panel in the academic/realistic style typical of the late 19th to early 20th century. The icon depicts Saint Martyr Savva and Saint Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky with preserved original Cyrillic inscriptions, with the image of Jesus Christ visible in the upper section. The back of the panel features two original wooden cross-slats (sponki) to prevent warping. The icon is in authentic condition with natural signs of age, including surface cracking (craquelure) and lacquer loss. It remains completely unrestored, preserving its original paint layer.
