The antique wall map of the Eastern Hemisphere titled Östliche Erdhalbkugel, drawn and engraved by Eduard Gaebler of Leipzig, Germany, printed on paper and mounted on wooden rollers at a 1:24,000,000 scale and dated 1889, showing Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, with original rollers and protective band, in good condition for its age though with humidity marks at the edges and small tears.

The map is an antique wall map of the Eastern Hemisphere in German, titled “Östliche Erdhalbkugel” (Eastern Hemisphere), designed and engraved by the German cartographer and publisher Eduard Gaebler of Leipzig, at a scale of 1:25,000,000.
Main visible features:
• Title and geography: It depicts Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania (Australia) within a circular hemispheric projection.
• Attribution: At the bottom center is the signature "Bearbeitet u. gezeichnet von Eduard Gaebler" (Produced and drawn by Eduard Gaebler) with the scale indication of 1:24,000,000.
• Mounting: The paper print is affixed to upper and lower wooden rollers typical of school or wall maps from the era (19th–20th century).
The map is dated 1889 and shows moisture stains along the edges and a few small tears. Considering its age, it is in excellent condition. The original rods and the protective band are present when rolled.
