This card comes from the legendary Expedition Base Set expansion released in 2002, the very first set to introduce the revolutionary e-Card system. The card features the characteristic borders with barcode strips, designed to be read by the Nintendo e-Reader accessory for the Game Boy Advance.
The artwork, masterfully curated by the renowned artist Hajime Kusajima, depicts the legendary and mysterious Mew immersed in a dreamy coral and marine landscape. The Reverse Holo version of this specific set is historically famous for its full-card holo pattern, extremely reflective and iridescent, giving the card a stunning visual impact and a rainbow of reflections in person.
