Lot of 3 Vintage Design Thermos Jugs 'dánse' – Nicolas Nicolaou for Menu Denmark – Postmodern Memphis Style (Set of 2 Red, 1 Blue)
A beautiful and rare design set of three iconic 'dánse' thermos jugs / insulation jugs (capacity 1 liter each), designed by the Danish designer Nicolas Nicolaou for Menu Denmark.
This set exudes the ultimate postmodern 1990s aesthetic and strongly recalls the influences of the Memphis Milano group.
The set comprises a desirable color combination: two pieces in vibrant transparent red and one in deep cobalt blue.
The jugs are characterized by their clean, tapered cone shape made from translucent high-quality plastic, combined with a contrasting matte black pouring and cap mechanism.
Condition:
• Interior: The original glass vacuum inner bottles are fully intact in all three jugs and are in functional condition.
• Exterior: The translucent plastic shows the normal, light superficial scratches inherent to the age and use of this material. No deep cracks, splits, or major damage. The right red one shows more use.
A fantastic and functional collector’s item that, thanks to the combined colors, fits perfectly in a modern, vintage, or eclectic design interior.
Will be shipped very carefully and securely packaged.
