Wall mirror - Wood

Sumptuous monumental dressing mirror, a testament to the excellence of Italian cabinetmaking of the late nineteenth century. The mirror cabinet was designed to serve an ornamental function as an entrance piece in a setting of grand prestige. At the same time, the piece lends itself to practical use; in fact, the richly carved front panel with Renaissance motifs, turned columns and decorative elements hides a large cavity with a shelf, which lends itself to use as a bar cabinet, or as storage space for silverware, crystal, and table linens. Between the cavity and the upper central mirror, there is a handy drawer. The piece is characterized by a large central mirror and two smaller side mirrors in the lower section. The cabinet is located in Bari, where it can be viewed.
