This one-of-a-kind light object "Bloom" SUNSET was designed in a Berlin design studio and 3D-printed using a computational process.
The two pendant lamps are made of a matte red- and orange-colored biopolymer based on corn starch and are biodegradable / environmentally friendly according to DIN EN ISO 14588. The material is sturdy, waterproof and easy to clean.
Each 3-D print has a necessary, fine and visible seam that holds the object together.
The design casts a shadow from bottom to top, thereby creating a play of colors (see photos).
The height of the lamp (excluding the lamp holder) is 180 mm.
The cable length is about 1 m and adjustable to your desired height.
