Hanging lamp - Murano glass - Design Italy 1970

Splendid pendant lamp produced in Italy around the 1970s, crafted from fine Murano glass in amber and white, shaped like a wide-brimmed hat. The diffuser is hand-molded in the sinuous form of a women's wide-brim hat, in a vibrant amber-orange shade, finished with a decorative ribbon of white milk glass tied in a bow. Made with the famous Italian technique 'incamiciato'. It is a glass composed of two overlapping layers of milk glass and colored transparent glass. The outer layer is orange/amber, while the hat’s interior is lighter, almost white. Truly rare and very distinctive component of furniture, with every part original.

Glass is perfectly intact. No chips. No cracks.
