Vintage Grundig Hi-Fi Set – Grundig PS 1020 Direct Drive Turntable + Grundig Receiver R48 – Complete Working Set

For sale is a beautiful vintage Grundig hi-fi set, consisting of a Grundig PS 1020 Direct Drive turntable and a Grundig Receiver R48. The two units are being offered together as a complete set.

This is a classic vintage audio combination from the Grundig era, suitable for collectors of vintage German hi-fi equipment, music enthusiasts, or anyone looking for an authentic vintage stereo system.

Included in the sale

The set includes:

- Grundig PS 1020 Direct Drive turntable
- Grundig Receiver R48 stereo receiver/amplifier
- The complete equipment shown and included with the set
- The turntable and receiver are being sold together as one complete vintage hi-fi system

Grundig PS 1020 Direct Drive Turntable

The turntable is a Grundig PS 1020 Direct Drive model.

The turntable has been checked by me before listing. I tested the unit to make sure that it powers on and that the main functions operate.

The unit switches on without any problems and the turntable operates.

The direct-drive system is one of the characteristic features of this model and makes it an interesting piece of vintage German audio equipment.

Please note that I am not a professional hi-fi technician or vintage audio specialist. I have therefore only tested the equipment to the best of my knowledge and ability. I can confirm what I personally tested, but I cannot guarantee that every technical specification or internal component works exactly as it did when the equipment was new.

Grundig Receiver R48

Also included is the Grundig Receiver R48.

The receiver is part of the same vintage Grundig hi-fi system and is included with the turntable so that the buyer receives a complete matching vintage audio setup.

I have also checked the receiver.

The receiver powers on and the equipment starts normally. Everything that I was able to test appeared to work correctly.

Again, I would like to point out that I am not a professional electronics technician. The equipment has been tested as far as I was able to test it, but due to the age of the components, I cannot provide a professional technical inspection or guarantee the condition of every internal electronic component.

Condition

The equipment is vintage and used, so please do not expect the condition of brand-new modern electronics.

There may be normal signs of age and previous use, such as minor scratches, marks, dust, discoloration or other small cosmetic imperfections. These are normal for vintage equipment of this age.

Despite its age, the set presents itself as an interesting and attractive vintage Grundig combination.

The equipment has been kept together as a set and is being offered to someone who appreciates classic German hi-fi equipment.

Tested before sale

I have personally checked the equipment before putting it up for sale.

The Grundig PS 1020 Direct Drive turntable powers on, and the Grundig Receiver R48 also powers on.

The equipment was tested to the extent possible by me, and I did not notice any major problem during my testing.

I would nevertheless recommend that potential buyers carefully read the description and look closely at all photographs before purchasing.

Because this is older vintage electronic equipment, I cannot guarantee how it will behave after many years of additional use or during long-term operation. Vintage electronics can contain components that deteriorate with age even when the equipment currently works.

Vintage German Hi-Fi

This Grundig set is especially interesting for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage German audio equipment.

Grundig was one of the well-known German names in consumer electronics and produced a wide range of radios, receivers, turntables, televisions and other home electronics.

A complete combination consisting of a Grundig turntable and Grundig receiver is a nice addition to a vintage audio collection.

The set can be used for listening to vinyl records and enjoying the characteristic look and feel of classic hi-fi equipment.

It can also be an attractive decorative piece for a vintage music room, collection, studio, living room or retro interior.

Important information for buyers

Please remember that this is vintage equipment, not new equipment.

I am selling the equipment based on its current condition and the tests I personally carried out.

I am not a professional technician, so I cannot guarantee that every individual function, connection, electronic component, switch, control or internal part will perform perfectly.

The equipment has been tested and both main units power on.

Please examine the photographs carefully, as the photographs are also an important part of the description and show the actual items being offered.

The buyer will receive the equipment shown in the listing and included in the described set.
