Description from the seller
A film worthy of a museum! Ozaphan was a non-flammable safety film format marketed for home use in France and Germany from the late 1920s to the 1950s. An extremely rare 16mm film from 1937, predating the advent of television. This reel—likely part of a monthly newsreel series—contains short segments featuring footage of events from that era: -Schmafilm Monthly Newsreel
1. Accession to the throne in Egypt. 2. Water balloon fight. 3. War between China and Japan. 4. Jenny Kammersgaard swims across the Kattegat Strait. 5. Modern hussars. 6. An unusual competition. 7. 700th anniversary of the founding of Berlin. In very good condition; it has been well preserved, with no missing parts or defects and no signs of mold. The spool and metal case show no oxidation. Only the cardboard box shows some signs of use.
