Stool - Chestnut - ANTIQUE STOOL

Splendid and authentic antique milking stool for cows, handmade entirely in solid chestnut wood, renowned for its incredible sturdiness and durability over time. A unique piece of Italian rural craftsmanship, dating from the first half of the twentieth century (poverty-arts style and peasant tradition).
This stool preserves all the charm of the era. The wood shows a beautiful original patina and small natural imperfections that attest to its authenticity and history, without compromising its stability. It is difficult to find ones so beautiful.
Preemptively treated with protective anti-termite treatment.
It was purchased in France, in Paris, at a rural antiques fair in 1990.
