Description from the seller

NIKON Nikkor-H·C Auto 28mm F3.5, tested and working.

Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.

The Nikkor-H·C Auto 28mm f/3.5 is the multi-coated version of Nikon's classic 28mm wide-angle for the F system, introduced in the early 1970s. The "H" designation denotes its six-element construction and "C" its multi-coating, which improved contrast and flare resistance over the earlier single-coated version. This is a non-Ai (pre-Ai) manual-focus lens with the original meter-coupling prong, built entirely in metal, and it adapts readily to modern mirrorless cameras.

Mount & Compatibility
This is a Non-Ai (pre-Ai) Nikon F-mount manual-focus lens. It mounts safely on early Nikon bodies designed for Non-Ai lenses (Nikon F, F2, Nikkormat, etc.).
IMPORTANT — On many later Ai/Ai-S metered bodies, mounting a Non-Ai lens can damage the meter-coupling tab unless the camera has a flip-up coupling (e.g. Nikon F4, FM, FM2) or the lens has been Ai-converted. Please confirm your body's compatibility before mounting. On mirrorless it can be used freely with a Nikon-F-to-mirrorless adapter.
