For vintage nesting coffee/tavern tables made of bamboo, rattan and glass – the 1960s–70s.
Set of original vintage nesting side tables made of natural bamboo and rattan with inset glass tops.
The tables have a light, geometric construction characteristic of Mid-Century Modern design and Mediterranean design of the 60s and 70s. The frame is made from thick natural bamboo elements, and the distinctive corner joints are finished with handmade rattan bindings. The glass tops are set inside the frame.
Dimensions:
- larger: height 40 cm, width 52 cm, depth 33 cm
- smaller: height 36 cm, width 43 cm, depth 28 cm
Materials: natural bamboo, rattan, smoked glass.
Period: 1960–1970.
Origin: Southern Europe,
Spain / Italy.
Condition: original, good vintage, suitable for age. Preserved without restoration that would alter the character of the items. The tables possess natural patina and visible signs of use and time, including minor wear, scratches, discolorations and signs of aging of bamboo and rattan. The original condition of the items is preserved.
The tables are stable and retain their original construction. Their varied dimensions allow the smaller table to slide under the larger one, saving space.
