It is a articulated Mallet locomotive with separate high- and low-pressure cylinders — a construction designed to haul heavy trains through tight curves and steep gradients, and which in Bavaria reached its most impressive form.
Märklin released this model as a one-off series to celebrate the jubilee "200 Jahre Königreich Bayern" and supplied it as an MHI model through hobby trade channels.

– Four axles driven, six anti-slip bands
– Articulated steering drive (Gelenkfahrwerk), allowing the model to negotiate tight curves despite its length

The paint and the fine green lining are intact, the brass maintenance plates are sharp, and the added details, rails and hand levers are complete and undamaged. In the photos there are some light specks of dust on the boiler; this is not damage to the paint. inc included accessories!
