Christofle - Luc Lanel - Centrepiece - Ondulations - Silverplated

A rare and highly distinctive “Ondulations” centerpiece designed by Luc Lanel for Christofle, circa 1930. Executed in silver-plated metal, the piece is defined by a sculptural sequence of undulating forms, through which a suspended rosewood sphere is visible.

The combination of geometric movement, refined metalwork and exotic wood is particularly emblematic of Lanel’s sophisticated approach to modernism and Art Deco.

This exceptional piece perfectly embodies the spirit of French Art Deco of the 1930s.
