Ming Dynasty bronze functionary statuette from China, standing priest-like figure with a smiling face, long robe and cape, arms crossed over the chest holding a tripod jue wine vessel, height 18.6 cm (19.2 cm with the base), patinated bronze in very good condition with a small rear flaw, provenance Germany from Galerie D.E.R., acquired in 2025, authentic original.

CHINESE STATUETTE OF THE MING DYNASTY
Bronze official statuette.
Smiling-faced servant, standing, dressed in a long robe with wide sleeves and a flared cape at the bottom, hair held by an elaborate headdress.
His arms are crossed on his chest, presenting a tripod jue wine vessel.
Patinated bronze, high-quality piece with precise details, the face is expressive.
Dynasty Ming, 1368 to 1644 AD.
Height 18.6 cm (height 19.2 cm with the base) - Very good condition - small loss at the rear
Provenance: Germany, D.E.R. gallery..
Previously: old private German collection acquired on the art market
