Table lamp model Calla by VeArt (Venice), with Murano glass diffuser in lattimo satin and chrome-plated metal stem, height 45.5 cm, base diameter 15.5 cm and width 17 cm; origin Italy (Veneto), from the 1980s, in working order and bearing the original VeArt Made in Italy label.
Description from the seller
Elegant and iconic table lamp model "Calla", a masterpiece of avant-garde lighting produced in the 1980s by the prestigious Venetian manufactory VeArt (a brand founded in 1965 in close cultural synergy with the Venini universe).
The lamp stands out for the refined organic diffuser shaped like a floral cup. The lampshade is handmade on the mouth and crafted in precious encased Murano glass with a milky satin finish, characterized by a satin texture that yields an incredibly soft, warm, and glare-free light diffusion.
The supporting structure is in glossy chromed metal. The central stem fluidly continues beyond the glass body and ends at the top with a cable-pass-through eye-ring, a structural and decorative detail typical and distinctive of this design series.
Rarity element: The lamp still bears the original transparent factory sticker "VeArt - Hand Crafted Made in Italy" perfectly preserved on the outer edge of the diffuser, a fundamental detail certifying its absolute authenticity for collectors and industry experts.
Object conditions:
Structurally intact. The Murano glass has no fibers, cracks, or chips. The chromework is in excellent vintage condition, bright and free of rust blemishes. The electrical system is original and fully functional, wired for a standard E27 bulb.
