Very fine round opaline satin-glass Art Deco bowl with raised decoration of flowers. The flowers have a light blue color while the round bowl is white satin. The signature on the underside is clearly readable: R. Lalique. The design dates from 1927.

René Jules Lalique (1860 – 1945) was a French goldsmith and glass artist whose work is considered to belong to Art Nouveau and Art Deco. His designs are regarded as among the absolute top.

The bowl is in excellent condition, without damage, with minimal fine scratches on the foot ring. Lid is missing.

Zeer fraaie ronde opaline gesatineerd glazen Art Deco schaal met verhoogd decor van bloemen. De bloemen hebben een lichtblauwe kleur terwijl de ronde schaal wit gesatineerd is. Duidelijk leesbaar is de signatuur aan de onderzijde: R. Lalique. Het ontwerp stamt uit 1927.

René Jules Lalique (1860 – 1945) was een Franse edelsmid en glaskunstenaar wiens werk tot de art nouveau en art deco wordt gerekend. Zijn ontwerpen worden tot de absolute top gerekend.

De schaal is in uitstekende staat, zonder schade, met minimale schuifkrasjes op de standring. Deksel ontbreekt.
