Description from the seller
This selection showcases three wines from Domaine Yves Cuilleron, a leading name in the Rhône Valley.
1) Saint-Joseph Lieu-dit Digue 2024
This SAINT-JOSEPH – Lieu-Dit Digue by Yves CUILLERON stands out with its pure, golden color. The intense, complex nose reveals white flowers, citrus fruits, and hints of honey. The palate is distinctive and balanced with lovely roundness, supported by the minerality of the terroir on the finish.
Made from 100% Roussanne grapes, this single vineyard cuvée from the “Digue” locality in the north of the appellation is aged for nine months in barrels and casks and has a pure, golden color.
A wine for aging, to be drunk between 6 and 10 years.
Food and wine pairings: Enjoy with lobster ravioli in saffron sauce.
2) Saint-Joseph Lyseras 2024
The Saint-Joseph Lyseras has a bright yellow color. The nose reveals ripe yellow fruits with notes of citrus and honey. The palate is rich and fresh.
Composed of equal parts Roussanne and Marsanne, this blend from plots located in the northern communes of the appellation is aged for nine months in barrels and casks.
Best enjoyed young, when the fruity aromas are at their peak.
Food and wine pairing: Enjoy with cod en papillote and cherry tomato confit.
3) Marsanne Les Vignes d'à Côté 2025
Yves Cuilleron's Marsanne stands out for its clear, limpid color. The nose is reminiscent of a bouquet of white flowers with citrus notes. The palate is mineral and rich, with a bitter finish that lingers.
Made from 100% Marsanne grapes, this wine is produced from a blend of plots located in the “Collines Rhodaniennes” PGI area and is aged for eight months, divided equally between barrels, casks, and vats.
Best enjoyed young and fresh.
Food and wine pairings: Enjoy with cheese, especially goat cheese.
