Beautiful and rare copper engraving published in the work "Beschryvinge van Oud en Niew Rome" (i.e.: Description of ancient and new Rome), with texts by François Jacques Desseine, published in Amsterdam by François Halma in 1704.

Etching on handmade laid paper lacking a watermark, in black and white, excellent inking and good conservation state, slight traces of foxing and browning. Sheet intact with original margins. Editorial fold and visible signs of binding. Light and widespread yellowing, small insignificant tear, all as in the photo.
