AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Mechanical table clock with double bell – Late 19th / Early 20th century – Working
Fascinating mechanical table clock dating from the end of the 19th century / early 20th century, characterized by a splendid wooden case in warm mahogany tones and the original double-bell system.
The clock presents in excellent condition considering its considerable age, with the wooden structure very well preserved and complete with its refined decorative elements. Particularly evocative is the original patina of the time, visible especially on the metal parts, which gives the piece authenticity and charm without compromising its overall beauty.
The large dial, elegant and perfectly legible, retains a beautiful vintage appearance and is embellished by the auxiliary dials. The two lower bells, the upper decorative applications and the distinctive front chain make the piece particularly rich and scenographic.
The clock is working, a feature especially appreciated for an item of this age.
Overall it is a piece very well preserved, complete and of great presence, with normal and fascinating signs of time coherent with its antiquity. Ideal for a horology collection, for antique enthusiasts or as an important furnishing element.
