oval "Art Nouveau" carved wood tray, Signed on the upper face near the inner edge with a wood incision: [F. Véniat], Art Nouveau, c. 1895–1915 (late 19th century / early 20th century).
Important and decorative oval tray in solid wood with natural dark patina. Handcrafted with great detail, featuring a carved edge simulating sinuously textured branches. The interior ends and sides are richly ornamented with prominent reliefs of botanical leaves (ivy or grapevine motif), integrally connected to the piece's structure.
Overall good condition, showing natural wear from age and use, slight superficial patina and marks that accentuate its antique and authentic character.

Antiques are my enormous passion; all the items I have up for auction were found at antique fairs and from antique dealers mainly in the Lisbon area, but also from the rest of Portugal. Only pieces of good quality, distinctly original and obviously beautiful. Quality guarantee and very careful shipping of the pieces.
