Collection West German Pottery & vintage ceramic lamp bases (4)
Beautiful collection of four ceramic lamp bases from the 1960s and 1970s, executed in characteristic Mid-Century and West German Pottery style. The collection includes diverse shapes, glazes and decorations that give a nice overview of European ceramic design from this period.
The set consists of:
• A large Fat Lava lamp base with decorative brown-cream lava glaze and sculptural double-bubble form (height approx. 31 cm).
• A dark blue high-gloss ceramic lamp base with elegant organic design (height approx. 24 cm).
• A West Germany lamp base with rough, earthly chamotte texture, marked W.-Germany 96/12 (height approx. 20 cm).
• A decorative urn-shaped lamp base with geometric relief decoration and model number 433/28 (height approx. 18 cm).
