Description from the seller

A Moser Karlsbad tazza in heavy caramel brown glass, decorated around the upper bowl with a continuous frieze of engraved and gilded warriors in the Art Deco manner, circa 1920 to 1930. The piece is signed 'Moser Karlsbad' on the base, consistent with the glassworks' practice during that period. Moser, founded in Karlsbad (now Karlovy Vary) in 1857, became one of the foremost Bohemian luxury glass houses; its Art Deco figurative friezes in heavy coloured glass are among the most collected works from the firm's output.

Condition is Good. There is a small chip on the base and some grinding or wear to the gilding in the area immediately surrounding the engraved decoration; both defects are visible under close examination. The glass body itself is free of cracks.
