The Wharfedale Ritz Diamond is a special, rare vintage version of the iconic Diamond bookshelf speaker, released around 1000 (late 80s, just after the Diamond III). They are known in the hi-fi community for their excellent value for money.
Key features & specifications
Although they look very similar to the regular Diamond III, they are slightly larger and equipped with a different woofer, giving them a slightly higher sensitivity:
Type: 2-way bass reflex mini monitor (bookshelf speaker)
Power: Suitable for amplifiers from 60 to 120 Watts (often referred to as 100W peak)
Impedance: 8 Ohm
Sensitivity: About 88 dB (slightly more sensitive and easier to control than the original Diamonds from that time)
Sound character: They deliver the typical, warm British hi-fi sound with a surprisingly full-fledged mid and high for their compact size.
