A German wall clock from the 1970s–1980s with a mechanical movement by FHS (261-030), housed in a wooden case with copper and glass elements, 68 cm high, 28 cm wide, 16 cm deep, about 9 kg, eight-day power reserve, half-hour strike on three gongs, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
One of the first things that stands out about this clock is the eagle perched on the fixed hood. Also noticeable are the decorative pillars on either side of the dial with the glass cover and the crest bearing the motto "Tempus Fugit" above the dial.
The wall clock consists of a large backboard and a wooden case with the movement that sits on two wooden supports. For the wooden parts of the clock, notably heavy material has been used. Those parts are really cool.
Inside the case is a movement from FHS, type 261-030. Also inside is the strike block with three gong rods. The movement functions well.
On the case is the aforementioned eagle. At the front a numeral ring with above it a crest bearing the text "Tempus Fugit". In front of the numeral ring is a bezel with a brass edge and on either side embellished pillars.
Copper chains hold copper weights that, along the length, are alternately smooth and "rough". These weights have blemishes.
The clock can be picked up in Almere. Shipping is done carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
