Globe - Columbus en Erven J. Bijleveld - Aardglobe - 1928 - Earth globe, 25 cm in diameter, of Columbus from ca. 1928. Published in Dutch by the Heirs of J.

Columbus Aardglobe from around 1928. Published in Dutch by the Erven J. Bijleveld in Utrecht. Standard entirely in the style of that era, Bauhaus Art Deco..

This globe has been well preserved, standard, axis and the map sheet are all complete and original. Time has left hardly any traces. A healthy old specimen.
Across the entire globe there is hardly any wear or damage except for a small spot near the South Pole. Slight tear on the equator. The map sheet is otherwise complete. All ironwork is still the original as well, which may be considered rare.
All clearly visible in the photos that form part of the description.

With a height of 44 cm and a diameter of 25 cm, a globe that fits excellently on the desk or table in your interior. A beautiful eye-catcher.

I have now sold countless globes from my collection, which I am gradually phasing out.
If a minimum price is used for a globe, it will be fair and reasonable for the true collector at all times. Thank you for your interest.
