Description from the seller
Danish vintage design pendant lamp – Werner Schou – Coronell Elektro
In very good condition – Copper & black metal with all original prisms – 1960s/70s
A beautiful and iconic Danish design pendant lamp, designed by Werner Schou for Coronell Elektro (Denmark) in the 1960s/1970s.
This lamp is a masterpiece of Mid-Century Modern lighting and an absolute showpiece in any design interior.
Design & Light Effect:
The lamp is built from layered, sculpturally curved strips of high-quality copper that beautifully contrast with a central matte-black metal band. This black band features geometric cutouts in which all original plastic/acrylate crystals (prisms) are still present and intact.
When the lamp is lit, the light filters through the layered copper structure in a magical way and the faceted plastic prisms create a warm, sparkling, and atmospheric light pattern on the walls and ceiling.
