Description from the seller
Take a good look at all the photos.
The mountain sable/stoat (Mustela altaica) is a small carnivorous mammal in the Mustelidae family. This lively animal, adapted to the rugged reliefs and high altitudes of Central and East Asia, thrives at elevations between 1,500 and 4,000 meters. Despite a wide geographic distribution from Siberia to the Himalayan range, the species faces direct threats from climate change and habitat modification due to overgrazing.
Taxidermy in very good condition.
Mounted on a stand to be placed, with real rock pieces, the colors and the mischievous look of the animal are enhanced..
The last shot shows a specimen in its natural habitat.
It is a rare privilege to own this specimen in your collection as it lives very far from us. An item of great gentleness, it is very present, for You, here and only here, on Catawiki,
Not to be missed.
(All our packages are secured with materials specifically adapted for this purpose, and sent via Colissimo, with the tracking number provided, no later than the day after your payment, excluding weekends and public holidays).
