IKEA - Nesting tables (2) - Lövbacken - Brass, Veneer, wood

The IKEA LÖVBACKEN side table is a reissue of an iconic design from the Mid-Century Modern period. This particular model, with its characteristic leaf-shaped silhouette, pays tribute to the original LÖVET design from the fifties, which at the time marked IKEA's introduction of flat-pack furniture. The tabletop is finished with a veneered surface in a warm brown shade, where the wood grain forms a striking pattern that emphasizes the organic form. The table rests on three tapered legs, finished in black with gold-colored accents at the ends. The construction combines wood and metal for a stable and elegant base. The table is in good condition, maintaining its structural integrity and the original finish. The piece shows character that suits careful use, with the distinctive details of the design well preserved. This piece fits excellently in a Mid-Century Modern or Scandinavian-inspired interior. It functions perfectly as a side table next to an armchair or sofa, where the organic design provides a subtle contrast to the room’s sleeker lines. 1 side table is missing 1 metal piece from a leg, otherwise in nice vintage condition.
