AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Large collection of more than 200 fossil shark teeth, including two Carcharocles sokolovi's (ancestor of the Megalodon). These have largely been collected by myself during a 4-week expedition to Western Sahara in late 2012. This search location is more than 5000 km by road from the Netherlands, not far from the border with Mauritania, about 20 km south of the town of El Argoub. The shark teeth come from the Eocene (Priabonian) and are between 38 and 33.9 million years old. Many teeth are damaged but there are also many sharp-pointed ones.
The species of shark teeth included in the lot are:
Alopias alamabensis
Galeocerdo sp.
Hemipristus curvatus
Abdounia sp
Physogaleus sp.
Carcharias twiggensis
Negaprion frequens

Isurus preacursor
Galeocerdo eaglesomi
Carcharocles sokolowi (these are the two largest teeth. These are in natural state but with damage, dimensions 7.5 cm and 7.6 cm)

Carefully packed and sent by registered mail and insured.
