Lucherino- Spinus spinus
Splendid male specimen of Lucherino (Spinus spinus) mounted with exceptional skill. The preparation enhances the nuptial plumage in full, characterized by a vibrant golden-yellow breast, olive striped back, and the typical black cap on the head. The bird is posed in a natural attitude on an artificially aged knotted oak branch, resting on a circular base covered in red felt (as visible in the image).
Condition: Excellent state of preservation, high-quality vintage taxidermy.
Provenance: Private collection of natural art.
