Hardcover album Tintin à Québec published by RODIER in original edition, in French, with drawings by Yves Rodier in homage to Hergé, in TTB condition, strictly limited to 50 numbered copies (this is number 003).
Description from the seller
The album 'Tintin à Québec' gathers the works Yves Rodier created from 1992 to 2012 in homage to Hergé's hero's stories. Some of these drawings were sent around 1993 to several figures in the Belgian comics world (including Bob de Moor and Stéphane Steeman): the author hoped, as he will later acknowledge quite naively, to revive the series left vacant by the Master's death.
This followed the colossal work that Rodier had undertaken beforehand to shape and complete what should have been the 24th album of the series, Tintin and Alph'Art.
Although he had received a categorical refusal from the Hergé Foundation regarding his request, Bob De Moor and Stéphane Steeman could only praise his nascent talent.
That is why we felt it essential to present these drawings which, for almost all of them, are unpublished in an album.
Hardcover album with a red square spine printed alternating narrative text and the author's illustrations,
Print run strictly limited to 50 numbered copies
