The 1996 M. Chapoutier Ermitage Le Pavillon is a monumental, long-aging Syrah red wine from the northern Rhône Valley with outstanding critic reviews (up to 97 points from Robert Parker).
• Grape variety: 100% Syrah
• Origin: Single vineyard “Les Bessards” (west side of the Hermitage hill)
• Maturation: Biodynamic cultivation, powerful and structured
• Aromas: Cassis, graphite, ripe blackberries, smoky notes, licorice and truffle
