AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Vertical seven-drawer dresser in Louis XV style – veneered wood with gilded bronze mounts
Elegant vertical seven-drawer dresser in Louis XV taste, crafted in veneered wood with decorative fillets and mounts in gilded bronze. The sinuous silhouette, with a serpentine front, is composed of seven drawers framed by inlaid profiles and adorned with chiseled handles and escutcheons.
The Cabriole legs terminate in finely worked ornamental bronzes, while the top surface features a glossy finish that enhances the warm grain of the wood. A work of French-style cabinetmaking, it represents a refined example of bedroom or living-room furniture from the Napoleonic III era, ideal for classical interiors or antique collections.
