A preserved and restored Big Carcharodontosaurus saharicus tooth from a Dinosaurus specimen, dating to the Late Cretaceous (about 93–100 million years ago) in Morocco, weighing 33 g and measuring 7 cm long by 3.4 cm wide and 1.4 cm deep, with patina and partial enamel repair.
Description from the seller
A beautiful tooth of one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs ever to have lived is offered. The Carcharodontosaurus is closely related to Tyrannosaurus rex. It could reach up to 13 meters in length with a weight of 15 tons. This cutting tooth measures 7 cm. The serration on the side is largely beautifully preserved, as can be seen in the photos. The tooth also has a nice light to dark brown patina. The tooth is glued and part of the enamel has been smeared. The tip has a light damage. Beautiful Carcharodontosaurus teeth are rare.
This tooth comes from the Kem Kem Formation in the southeast of Morocco. The age is Late Cretaceous, about 93 to 100 million years old. Brought back from my last trip to the Kem Kem in Morocco in April 2026. Good luck with the bids.
