Serving tray - Enamel, Ceramic, Metal - Enamle Tray

Rectangle tray, decorated by Art Nouveau Poppies pattorn. Maker: Società Ceramica Italiana Laveno (1856-1965), manufacturer Timeline: ca. 1900 - ca. 1910 Type: Ceramics Material and technique: Earthenware; metal Dimensions: 33 x 20 x 4 cm. Tray is in good, used condition, without any damage, but with some signes of age and use.
Description: Small tray with metal mounts, decorated with poppies on a white background. Decorated with a miniature underglaze floral print. The print used for the decoration was studied by Marco Costantini for the exhibition "Engraving for Ceramics" held in 1888 at Palazzo Perabò in Laveno.

Good vintage condition with some signes of age.
