Gianmaria Buccellati – Leaf-shaped bowl in 800 silver – Italy, 20th century
Gianmaria Buccellati – small leaf-shaped bowl in 800 silver.
Refined small decorative bowl crafted in 800 silver and naturally modeled in the shape of a leaf, with an irregular rim, raised veins and a curved stem.
The reverse clearly bears the full signature “Gianmaria Buccellati” and the “800” hallmark, both documented in the photographs.
The extremely naturalistic representation of leaves, flowers and other plant elements is characteristic of Gianmaria Buccellati’s silver production; numerous variants of these bowls and leaves in different shapes and sizes are documented.
